WASHINGTON DC
The NMUN•DC Conference draws delegates from all over the world. These university students participate in discussions of issues at the forefront of international relations. Last year they hosted over 800 students and over 50 faculty members. The conference includes a crisis simulation in the Security Council and briefings by distinguished speakers from the Washington, DC diplomatic community. It is held in partnership with the Osgood Center for International Studies.
SimONU's teamwork has been currently awarded as Honorable Delegation et had the pleasure to visit the French Embassy of the United States of America.
Le NMUN•DC est une simulation réunissant des étudiants du monde entier. En octobre dernier, 800 étudiants se snot retrouvés pour y participer. La conférence comporte une simulation de crise au Conseil de Sécurité et des interventions de spécialistes américains de la diplomatie .
SimONU a été récompensée pour son travail et a reçu l'award "Honorable Mention Delegation", soit la 3e place du podium. L'équipe a également eu la chance de visiter l'Ambassade de France des Etats-Unis.
NEW-YORK
Over 5,000 college/university students, more than half from outside the United States, go to New York City each spring to discuss current global issues. Delegates are prepared to solve three pressing issues relevant to the 21 simulated UN committees. Outside conference sessions, delegations enjoy the proximity to Permanent Missions to the UN, the United Nations itself, as well as world class museums, architecture, shows, restaurants and shopping. NMUN's premiere conference is held with UN Headquarters as a backdrop.
SimONU has been awarded for several times for its teamwork as Outstanding delegation.
Chaque printemps, plus de 5000 étudiants venus du monde entier se réunissent à New-York pour participer à la simuation des Nations Unies la plus importante au monde. Les délégués sont répartis dans les 21 comités de l'ONU pour débattrer, discourir et trouver des solutions urgentes et durables aux problématiques auxquelles fait face notre monde actuel. La cérémonie d'ouverture se déroule au siège des Nations Unies.
SimONU a été remarquée à maintes reprises pour la qualité de son travail en obtenant la mention "Outstanding delegation"pour se hisser à la première place de la compétition.
LONDON
The YES to UN (also called Young European Summit) is a United Nations simulation based on the NMUN model, organized by the diplomatic association Call ON'U during 4 intense days in London. Every year more than 150 students from the best french schools (HEC, ESSEC, KEDGE Science Po Paris...) but also from some of the best european universities, gather in London to discuss and debate around some of the most pressing issues faced today.
SimONU has been distinguished for several times and has been the association the most nominated this year. One of the members has been awarded as the Best Delegate.
Le Young European Summit est un projet imaginé et mis en œuvre par l'association Call ON'U ESCP Europe, en collaboration avec les associations des meilleures écoles françaises: HEC, Edhec, ESSEC, KEDGE, Sciences Po Paris .. Cet événement, qui se déroule pendant quatre jours sur le campus d'ESCP à Londres, est une simulation de négociations inspirée du modèle des Nations Unies qui permet à plus de 150 étudiants de débattre sur des sujets de géopolitique.
SimONU s'est encore une fois distinguée cette année en étant l'association la plus nominée aux awards et obtenant la mention Best Delegate.
